To General Greene, requesting a return of the killed,
wounded and missing, to submit to the Publick.
To Camden, so fatal to rebels, we're told,
That Greene with his forces, and forces so bold,
Of success so secure, advanc'd, that the tanner
Promis'd laurels to each, who fought under his banner.
On the 25th ult. fatal day! What a hardship?
Without the least warning, out sallied his Lordship;
Kill'd, wounded and took, alas! my poor tanner,
How many of those who fought under your banner?
